Additional Information

Black Winter Truffle season is between the months of November-March in Italy and June-October in Australia.

Truffles naturally come in all sizes, this is why sizes sold are on average basis. If you’re lucky you will end up with a bigger piece than expected!


Storage Tips

  • Always store truffles in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container.

  • Clean the truffles with a brush and replace paper towel every 24 hours.

  • Some chefs like to store it in a container filled with rice, you can use the rice to cook a delicious risotto or pasta dish afterwards.

  • It’s normal for white mold to build up on the outer surface of fresh truffles. Use a brush to wipe off the mold everyday and before use.
